Since 2019 I travel and work in Uganda. In the beginning of 2019 I started my own painting project. Ever since I have painted 35 portraits from the people I met in Nakivale and Kampala, Uganda. From the proceeds after a painting is sold, I donate 15%. In the last 2 years I could donate 3500 euros. Many goals have been reached, many people received sanitary, food, clothing, yoga and art supplies. My project started during the pandemic and it is and will be an ongoing project to support both communities.

This is madame Mastula Nakisozi. I met her in 2021 in Kyebando, Kampala. Her organization is called Kawempe, she supports women in Kyebando who are infected by HIV. Also Mastula is infected by HIV but that never made her feel powerless. It made her motivated to finally stand up against the taboo about HIV. Last year I could support her with 500 dollars after selling her portrait painting from the series HIDDEN PROFILES. She could provide food and sanitary to 120 vulnerable women infected by HIV.
